Urpop Festival Poster

Urpop is a free local pop festival in Stein, traditionally held on Ascension Day, providing a stage for regional bands. In 2022, Urpop returned after a two-year break with a special edition, headlined by the U2 cover band L.A. Vation.

For this edition, I designed the festival poster, centring the theme of togetherness. After years of isolation during the pandemic, the design symbolises freedom and connection through a hot air balloon, representing the open world and the escape Urpop offers from daily pressures. The poster reflects Urpop’s values of inclusivity and being yourself, celebrating community without discrimination.
